Winter is upon us now and is one of our favourite seasons because the wildlife is prolific and everything is lush and succulent. This is perfect for exploring our region and having a great night's sleep after a full day. Thus far, we've had fantastic rainfall which has made the countryside return to its familiar green colour. Our dams are full and nearby Beedelup Falls are a sight to behold.

Fruit and veggie stalls are offering some great produce. The Pemberton Vintage Ball, will be celebrating its 10th year soon. Book your stay with us and we can tell you about all the fantastic things our region has to offer.

We have over 500 DVD's for our guests to choose from in our movie hire library. The ever popular book exchange is available, as are a variety of board games to loan. Bushwalking is also very popular at this time of year and we are happy to provide our guests with area maps to use when they explore the beautiful walk tracks through the forest and nearby Bibbulmun track.

Our reception offers some basic foods for those who may have forgotten to bring some items with them. Bread, milk, eggs, bacon, confectionery and more available. Our chalets have recently been re-decorated, as we want to keep up the high standards we have come to be known for.

There are as many as 30 Kangaroos frolicking in front of the chalets every morning and afternoon. Boxing, lying on their backs and playing with each other. They have been joined recently by a few Emus too. What wonderful entertainment for you to enjoy in a unique and private location.

There are numerous local opportunities to try your luck for a wild trout or a red fin perch. If you are unsuccessful, we can always direct you to a place where you are guaranteed a catch. Discover what our region has to offer in the way of fine food, wine and more - a first-class variety, second to none.

A number of tours can also be enjoyed in our area, from guided walks, tours of the timber mill, 4 x 4 tours of the national parks and coastal dunes, to canoe trips down the Warren River and boat trips down the Donnelly River.
