Just wanted to say how much our group of 8 enjoyed our stay at Karri Valley Chalets last Tuesday, Wed. & Thursday. The chalets are very comfortable, roomy & so well equipped. The surroundings are so peaceful. Even though we have kangaroos on our farming property, it was lovely to see your friendly "lot" remain so close to the buildings. They didn't seem fazed by us at all!

The Karri Valley District is unique. Despite the wet weather [and, in fact, we all decided it complimented our winter getaway], we found so many things to do & look forward to completing the list another time. We were very pleased to have a log fire - even tho' we had to coax it along occasionally.

We looked at other accommodation I had read about on various websites before we booked with you and, I am pleased to say, all felt that I had made the right choice. We'll definitely be back again!

What a great time we had on our 4 day visit to Pemberton. This is the second time we've been here in the past 2 years and we decided to book with you on this occasion to try something new. We bumped into some friends who were also staying in Karri Valley at the big resort next door to you and we joined them for a meal at the restaurant. After dinner, they invited us to their cottage for a couple of drinks. Well, after looking inside their cottage, we were soooo glad we decided to book at your place. There was no comparison for quality, cleanliness or presentation. Gail and Mark came over to our cottage the following night and were a bit "miffed" that we had nicer accommodation for a similar price. Just goes to show, that a little research on the net can pay off. Thanks a bunch for making our stay so comfortable and relaxing. We will be back again soon for our wedding anniversary.

Hi Roger and Debbie
We stayed at Karri Valley Chalets for 3 nights from 3rd - 5th Jan (2008). We're now safely home and in the middle of the Northern Hemisphere winter. Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in the chalet. Sitting on the verandah watching the kangaroos grazing at dawn and dusk was magical. Hope to come back again some day. This has to be the highlight of our holiday so far. Had we known what to expect, we would surely have booked to stay longer. Sadly, our itinerary does not permit us that luxury now. My in-laws have never been to Australia before and are captivated by all the wildlife here. Not only this, but have commented on how clean the premises are kept and being from the UK, have appreciated the bath too (in preference to a shower). Debbie, we would like to thank you for all the little things you have done, from lighting our fire to arranging the tour bookings and dinner reservations. You are truly what this industry needs - a host that goes out of her way for her guests (unlike the experience we had before you in Busselton). Thanks to you both for making us feel so welcome. We wish you every success and will return again for longer next time.

You must really enjoy running this place, as is evident by your friendly disposition. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed as if a family member. My husband works away as you know, so was unable to join us, however we will definitely be back as a complete family in the future. Your slogan "heaven on earth" is very apt and we felt privileged to spend a few days here.

More than we expected. Peaceful and quiet, modern and so clean. We found the chalet full of all the conveniences we needed and more. It was just perfect for us. While touring the south west we did find it difficult to secure accommodation with two queen beds elsewhere, so it was great discovering your place. Good luck with your next art project Debbie. We will cherish the piece we got from you and it will take pride of place in our living room at home.

Arrived to a friendly welcome from our hosts, which set the mood for the weekend. What a great time we had exploring the area and rediscovering the simple things in life. Thank you Debbie for making sure our chalet was warm with the fire going. Thank you Roger for sorting out our minor car problem. Your suggestions of where to go and what to see were much appreciated. We will be sure to recommend you to all our friends as one of the best places to go to escape for a few days.

We spent 5 days in Margaret River and had a good time. We have spent 3 days with you now and had a fantastic time! We should have done it in reverse and spent more time here. If only we had known how much there was to see and do around here and how wonderful the cottage was going to be, we would have booked to stay longer with you. Seeing all the kangaroos is a treat we had not expected. This has been a lesson well learned. When we come back next year for our daughter's wedding we will have to book a longer holiday with you and see what we missed out on this time. Thanks for a wonderful stay in a beautiful place - oh... and your infectious Australian humour!

We like this place most of all from everywhere we have stayed on our holidays. Very clean and modern cottage. The last place had no laundry so thank you for a nice one to use. Heaven on earth you say on your webpage? We did not believe this until we saw things in the morning and it was not dark. Our children love it here because of all the kangaroos and space to run around and play. Thank you for the free fruit it was tasty. May God bless you and your beautiful children.

We mistakenly booked with you thinking you were the resort. What a good mistake we made! Your chalets are the cleanest place we have ever stayed and we are very well travelled. A credit to you both! Keep up the good work.

After 5 days here, we feel totally refreshed and ready to tackle our city lives again. The warm welcome and even warmer chalet was great (thanks for lighting our fire). We will come back again soon for sure.

Our family has finally seen some kangaroos after 3 weeks of travelling around Australia. It is wonderful how you have kept your place natural for the wildlife. On our first day here we could hardly believe our eyes when we saw emus, kangaroos, a possum and all the beautiful birds. This place should be promoted as a "true aussie experience"!

We made friends staying here because of the great feeling of your place. You have made this to feel like a home and the greeting is like no where we have had before in the world. We will tell all our friends at home about this place, so prepare for many Germans!

Thought we booked to stay at the resort next door but ended up here by mistake. We were disappointed at first thinking we were in for a let down, until you took us over to our cottage - we're so glad we made this mistake and will let our friends know where to book after discovering the delights of your cottage and property.

What a great place you have. We re-discovered the joys of playing scrabble with our kids and did not miss the so called necessities of life. The peace and quiet is great and the kangaroos kept us mesmerised for hours. You truly live in heaven on earth. We plan to re-book for Easter next year before we leave!

We have stayed at many places in Pemberton over the past 9 years that we have visited the area, and can say without any doubt that this is the best set up cottage we have encountered. My wife usually spends the first hour or two cleaning a place when we arrive (compulsive/obsessive) because she's encountered some pretty bad places (filthy) but she couldn't fault your chalet, so was happy from the moment we arrived, which made me happy too. We will definitely be back!
