We foster orphaned joeys (baby kangaroos) and have raised two
females. Unfortunately, they both lost their mothers in road accidents. We
ask you to take care while driving in the early evening and night time
when kangaroos are most active. They can jump-out in front of your car and are
blinded by your headlights.
Our two orphans, Jo-Jo & Patch, are pictured above at 8 months of age. They are pictured below on 27th Oct 2002 about
six months later, looking very healthy, relaxed and bigger too. It's
encouraging to see them integrating with the other kangaroos on our
property now and they've both had joeys of their own.
