In May of 2010, after 7 months of negotiation and arbitration, we were finally granted planning approval by the Manjimup Shire for the construction of our proposed bar & grill restaurant.

We are delighted to announce that we look forward to finalising our plans in the near future. Being conscientious land owners, we will leave a very modest footprint and be using environmentally friendly building techniques & materials. At time of updating this page, we were fine-tuning the building plans.

We plan to update this page from time to time, giving our valued clients an overview of what we've achieved and the stages we're at with the development. We plan to offer a relaxed and informal dining experience for all to enjoy. Features such as wireless internet access, leather sofas to relax on, while checking your emails and enjoying a cappuccino, a fully licensed bar offering a selection of boutique beers, spirits and local wines. And of course, a menu of good comfort food, wholesome, nourishing and affordable.

We have established our new 'entry' and planted in excess of 350 trees and shrubs to comply with the planning approval requirement of creating "a sound and light pollution buffer" (to apease our neighbours). The trees and shrubs are all bird attracting and flower at different times of the year. This will provide a beautiful view from the front of the restaurant once they are fully established. In the coming months, the new road and parking area will be created and the site prepared for the foundations. Exciting times ahead for us and we're very keen to see our dream become a reality!
