Art and Pemberton are synonymous. Pemberton and the surrounding area is inspirational for many artistically minded people, some of whom are so impressed when they first visit, that they move here permanently! As a result, there are numerous artists and crafts people who live in this region, producing works that reflect the local environment, the seasonal changes, the strength and beauty of the forests and the never ending kaleidoscope of colours on display both inland and on our coast. There are numerous talented people producing fine furniture from the local hardwoods, some of which is on display in shops and galleries. Much is heirloom quality and exported all around the world.
